I have just returned from Vienna where I shot four new episodes for the highly successful crime series SOKO DONAU, not on HD but still on glorious Super 16 film material. Now I will resume working on my movie projects, first of all THE SPIDER, which will be shot in Istanbul, Malta and New York and will star Malcolm McDowell as an obscure Jesuit priest. Three-time-Oscar winner Howard Shore, famous for his scores for THE LORD OF THE RINGS and THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS, will provide the soundtrack. And I am at this one again:  THE 13TH DISCIPLE, a project whose mere premise caused an avalanche of media reports and articles after it was announced years ago during the 38th International Film Festival of India: the plot concerns Jesus Christ's evil twin brother who gets reincarnated in the present as the scheming head of a dangerous religious sect in India.  See here for more:
