School's Out 2 – The Island of Fear (Die Insel der Angst)
About the film:
The sequel to the highly successful "SCHOOL'S OUT": Nina is trying to recover from her traumatic experiences in a sanitarium on a remote island in Brittany. Turns out to be a very bad idea since the premises are stalked by a murderous nun.

SUMMARY : March 1901, in a German port village, Laurin, aged twelve, hears the cry for help, at nightfall, of a little boy whom she sees, from her window, being kidnapped by an adult. During the same night, Flora, Laurin's mother, sees on a bridge the inert body of the little boy and the face of his assassin; we find her dead in the morning, her body lying at the bottom of the bridge. With the father of Laurin, a sailor, being often absent, the little girl, plagued by strange visions, is now entrusted to her grandmother. She soon befriends a classmate, Stefan, who in turn disappears. A killer of children prowls around, and Laurin's curiosity puts her in great danger ...
ABOUT THE FILM :For his first feature film, Robert Sigl produced a true masterpiece, a fantastic tale whose atmosphere evokes the stories of Perrault or the Grimm brothers. Benefiting from a sublime photograph, Laurin summons through his images certain great masters of painting, from John Constable to Caspar Friedrich, via Brueghel. Without resorting to special effects, the director favors the atmosphere and the mystery, with this nature seeming to conceal dangers and secrets, and this village under the influence of traditions and religion. Thirty years after its release, Laurin remains a unique, timeless and wonderful work.
